The parade will conclude at WFD Headquarters where a memorial ceremony will be held in remembrance of the department’s departed members. Light refreshments will follow the ceremony.
Prior to Firemen’s Memorial Sunday, the department will also host its inaugural Wreath Laying Ceremony on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM, where department members and the public will gather to honor Chief Egger and Assistant Chief Keena at their gravesites.
The community is encouraged to attend both events as we honor the generations of firefighters who dedicated themselves to protecting Westerly.
